BTS Jungkook stole the spotlight at New York Fashion Week, boosting Calvin Klein to No.1 social influence with his global power.

BTS member Jungkook has once again proven his unrivaled global impact, this time on the stage of New York Fashion Week (NYFW).



According to fashion industry media, Jungkook’s presence elevated his partner brand Calvin Klein to the “social media winner” of the 2026 S/S season. Even though it was his very first appearance at NYFW, Jungkook generated over 4.4 million engagements across the brand’s top five social posts.

One Instagram video capturing the moment Jungkook arrived at the venue alone created an estimated $825,000 USD in media impact value, showcasing the immense power of the so-called “Jungkook Effect.”



On September 13, the day Jungkook attended, X (formerly Twitter) recorded more than 1.3 million posts mentioning his name, making him the most talked-about musician of the day.

Global analytics platform Onclusive confirmed that among 71 highlighted brands at NYFW, Calvin Klein ranked No.1 in brand influence with a dominant 69.58% share. Out of 150 celebrities attending the event, Jungkook topped the list with a 55.09% share of social mentions, more than double the runner-up.

Christophe Asselin, a senior insights expert at Onclusive, praised the collaboration:

“Every time Jungkook appeared, hundreds of thousands of viral reactions followed. His partnership with Calvin Klein was the most powerful media driver at NYFW 2025.”
